With Bluetooth at last becoming the de facto standard for wireless audio, it seems as if all manufacturers are releasing some sort of Bluetooth headphones. The bluetooth headphones are fairly affordable and offer reasonable sound and comfort quality. One of the more ordinary kinds of headphones is an around-the-back-of-the neck design. This has padded earpieces that completely cover the ears and make us look pretty dorky. We cannot fine-tune the fit because the neckband is a fixed length and nonadjustable, but they do fit securely.
The headphones’ rechargeable battery, gives us about 10 hours of usage, is housed in the right earpiece. We can juice up the battery with a standard mini-USB cable. The right earpiece also has buttons that control volume and the track up/down functions. A single switch on the same earpiece turns on the headphones and puts them into pairing mode. That same knob is also used to respond and end calls. The buttons are really easy to use and we can keep talking while we are busy with other things.
As far Bluetooth compatibility goes, most of the headphones boast Bluetooth 2.0 with the A2DP technology. We will generally have no trouble pairing them with any device that is Bluetooth-enabled. The market for Bluetooth headphones is definitely growing at an incredible rate. Every week a new pair of Bluetooth headphones is being developed. So it is time we go and grab bluetooth headphones for ourselves too.
