Motorola has unveiled its Motorola Q9h, a bulky yet interesting phone with extended battery life. The smartphone offers excellent messaging, great call quality, GPS and HSDPA with a QWERTY keyboard.
Design
Although not very sleek and slick in design, Motorola Q9h offers a spacious keyboard with comfortable keys and an extended battery life. With enhanced width and weight, the phone has a solid and durable build which increases its usability.
Features
One of the flagship features of Motorola Q9h, is its QWERTY keyboard, which is one of the best in the market. The buttons are big and comfortable making typing fun and painless. The backlight is bright enough to make typing easy in the dark.
The phone features Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition, which offers Microsoft’s Direct Push Technology for real-time e-mail delivery and automatic synchronization with Outlook calendar, tasks, and contacts via Exchange Server. The Q9h also supports other e-mail solutions, including AT&T Xpress Mail and Good Mobile Messaging.
Instead of Office suite, the phone features Dataviz’s Documents, which is a great suite for not only viewing and editing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, but creating them as well. A PDF viewer and a Zip manager are also included.
The phone’s other features include an integrated Bluetooth, HSDPA, and GPS. The phone’s 3.5G technology brings data speeds of as fast as 2Mbps. The phone also features a multimedia and a 2 megapixel camera.
Priced at $199, the phone is not a bad bargain.
